Memorial Box Monday

About eight years ago we were at a friends house. We had 3 kids at the time Nolan the youngest was 2 Gabe was 4 and Madison was seven. The had two children as well. we had been outside playing in the pool and it was getting cold and dark. While we were putting the solar cover on and locking the gate the kids were playing tag. The adults were going inside and left the kids to finish there game. Not long after they all came inside and went downstairs. My husband wanted a beer since I do not drink I NEVER get them for him but on this day I said I would. I walked in the kitchen and looked out the window. I saw something on top of the pool cover. I thought it may have been a ball. But the closer I looked it was the top of my sons head floating in the pool. I ran and screamed. By the time I got to the pool he has inches from reaching the end of the solar cover which he would have gone under and drowned. I pulled him out of the water he and I were both shaking and crying. If he was any heavier in would have folded in on him trapping him. Had I not got the beer. No one would have noticed him. I thank GOD because only he kept my baby safe. He is alive today because of miracles!! If I had a box a piece of solar cover would definitely be in it!
